2008 was a tough and strong year for micro, small and medium enterprises full of moments of indecision and challenges. We all go through the uncertainties of economic change both nationally and internationally, in addition to the election period for which the country faced in late November.
We question each day how to be our tomorrow, as we showed uncertain. For some it was a difficult year for other there were great achievements. In ASOPYMES reap great achievements had gradually and we have been strengthening and preparing for the new 2009.
We learned a lot in this journey. Our primary teachers have been partners but also each of you one way or another have come to us with your comments and suggestions. We are implementing each of them for the benefit of all micro, small and medium businesses!
In 2008 we signed new strategic alliances, we received new members, we began a program of "Green School" in the College Ponce (Ponce), were present in several radio and television programs, participate in business activities and expos, successfully completed the training of various groups in entrepreneurship (for displaced employees), and re-launched our new website ( http://www.asopymes.org/ ).
is the right time to express my sincere thanks to those who have willingly given of themselves to make this dream a reality for every one of you: A Tess to Salichs, Peter, Nerma, Joseph and Joel . Likewise also thank each one of those who have given us their input with feedback, comments and suggestions!
For the new year we have a program of work much more comprehensive than the 2008 that we hope will help and support of all those who want to create a better Puerto Rico! Demos of our time, experience and training to help those who are starting their business or are a little behind in their experiences of entrepreneurship!
Among the new opportunities for partners we have: greater exposure of their business on the new page, a training program (workshops) extended to more villages of the island, an exhibition for MSMEs and enhanced services at better prices .
We want the new year will be one of growth for you and your company where the expectations and hopes not stop growing! The year 2009 brings new challenges but also great (and many) opportunities, because we already have the road taken. The hard part is already underway!
Think of yourself and your goals. Think to where you want to go and identify what is your passion! You are not alone in this adventure. Come to us and work together for your company, your family ... and your country!
